Controlls are worst I've ever experianced.. Controls are TERRIBLE and it's very overpriced. I'd love to play this game, but it's just not possible.. Nifty submarine simulator. I strongly recommend using the "easy controls" option in the menu for standard WASD movement. Loads of options and weapons and gadgets. Nice upgrade system.. The first thing I'd like to say about this game is that the amount of work that has gone in to it is so obvious and incedible. No aspect of the game has been left unpolished. As someone who plays games to relax, this is genuinely one of the best indie games I've played in order to do that. The sound is beautiful, and the way pixel art has been used to create the graphics is really great. Without posting spoilers, the way the story is told is the right kind of ambiguous, and leaves you with questions you feel motivated to answer. On the subject of controls, I believe that the developer's original controls are far more immersive, however I've always struggled using/learning new controls for games (even in MOBAs I set my own controls to the defaults I'm used to) so I did set them to the easy/standard keyboard mode, though I'd recommend the original controls for players that don't have this issue. However, I am impressed at how well the developer responded to feedback about this, and added control options when they were requested. If you enjoy exploration and survival games I would definitely recommend Project Abyss. I can't wait to play more of it, and it's changed my opinion about pixel graphics. Previously I wasn't fond of them at all, but this game is really beautiful.. Has a mild learning curve when it comes to the controls, but it's always refreshing to have to learn something new instead of the "same old same old" problem we have with most games released now days. Very nice retro feel, love the zoom feature that allows me to look closer at the detail that you've put into the game! I really enjoy all the little things like the cliche red explosive barrel and crabs, mines, non-aggresive fish, a--hole fish, F-ING WHALES, and the lovely little claws you've added to the submarines! Skill trees are expansive, more than enough for something of this category. THERE ARE BUGS; BUT THIS GAME WAS MADE BY 3 PEOPLE (I think) So please, give credit were it is due, and please be patient, this game is amazing in its current state. I reccomend this purchase if you are looking for something new, like to explore, and enjoy the sense of accomplishment; because this game defintely brings that to the table!HAVE FUN DIVERS !!!. Not really my thing I'll be honest however it is without a doubt a well-crafted game and if you enjoy exploration, resource management and simple yet demanding controls you can certainly do much worse then this.. The Voice acting is ok. They typo choosen a very bad choice. The Companys Webpage Looks and feels very unprofessional as does alot of this game. it has some nice assets and ideas but dosent grab me really. Also feelt appaled i could just blow up all the sealife. You could even have made it so that you clean up the ocean on the sideline..but nope..those toxic Barrels are just exploding...Feels more of a grind right after then tutorial. Pricetag is way too high for the second game of the creator. 4.99 and i whould have kept it..maybe waiting for a sale since i still really like all things under the sea. The BIGGEST Problem of the game is the control sheme. Most PC Gamers loathe Controllers. You absolutly should implement free button editing. I whould have sticked to the original control sheme if i whould have been able to remap the Buttons. Even your "easy" controls can be such a PITA that make you just stop playing.
